Just sayin....Frame 2 of November FSO was a really intense, and fun, furball in the couds over/around A100. Ponies and Jugs and FWs and 109s, OH, MY!

Flying as "South52" for VF-17 Jolly Rogers
17 Squadron - The Hardest Day Battle of Britain
204 Kokutai - Target Rabaul
610 Squadron -TFT Battle of Britain

Fun fight over 110 as well. <S>
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Flew over A110 at about 19K in a FW 190a8 and sucker punched a P-38.  Pretty certain it was able to land but it was out of the fight.

Dropped a 250Kg bomb on the town and blacked out as I was pulling up.  Last act was to cut the engine.

Came to consciousness with a very aggressive P-51D on my ass.  Dove out rolling with the Mustang all over me.

High speed nap-of-the-earth chase ensued, with scissoring and a brief firing solution where I got hits but I'd neglected to
get the cannons back on line after bombing.  Ugh!  Hadn't had time from the blackout and chase to reassess configuration.
P-51 wasn't using tracers which made dodging even more fun.   I think I might have ran him out of ammo.

Regardless, as I approached the friendly city East of 110 the P-51 disengaged and I was able to finally take stock of what
was left of my aircraft.   Shot to ribbons in both wings with an aileron missing on my left wing.

Cruised up to altitude and began a half hearted patrol with little to report.

P-51 pilot landed, rearmed, and apparently botched the takeoff.   He ditched and I got credit.

Landed and reported to O-club for post flight sedation.

no thanks needed sir
A yappy back seater like Jester wasn’t popular or fun to fly with, more of an unnecessary distraction than anything else---Puma44
