What is your field of view setting?

Yes the FoV has changed since the old days, was 106 now it's 90. this will restrict your views I  have a button mapped to look forward down that allows me to see all the gauges etc.

Yes it's still adjustable but the view is limited compared to what it used to be,you can change the FoV by setting a custom field of view.

Your issue is perplexing for the life of me I cant seem to think  of what could be causing this, perhaps you have views set to an analog setting. One thing if you use the keypad and arrow keys sometimes windows wont do anything because of the amount of key presses. Try using a hatswitch with the arrow keys/page up/down because if you use 3 or more keys at same time they may not respond.

I'll be in the TA this evening between 9 pm and 10:30 pm EST,if you can make it I'll try to see if we can sort out this issue.

Have you tried a fresh install of AH with your controllers disconnected from your computer?
The reason I ask is that I suspect that something is being assigned to one of your controllers that prohibits you from adjusting your head position in the normal way. If you can adjust the head position with the controllers disconnected then all you have to do is find out what is being assigned and clearing it.

Like Morfiend, I'm perplexed by this issue. I don't ever recall someone not being able to adjust their head position.

Did you try moving your head position when the controllers are not plugged in? The point is simply to see if something is miss-mapped.

I would not reinstall Win 10 or AH. It seems like a waste of time. All you usually need to do is restore settings to default by deleting or renaming the settings folder.  BTW do not use old saved settings.

Did you change your FOV?

Sorry I wasn't clearer. Try adjusting the head position without the controllers connected. AH assigns the controller functions automatically when you connect the controller to your pc.

I agree with FLS about not reinstalling windows, or AH again. Just disconnect your controllers delete the settings folder, and with the controllers disconnected launch AH, and before you reconnect the controllers see if you can adjust the head position. If you can, then there is something being assigned to your controllers that prohibits you from adjusting your head position normally.

What controllers are you using?

Can you check to see that the head position functions are mapped in AH? Clipboard>Options>Controls>Map Keys, check views.

The only time I've seen something like this occur is when 3 or more keys are being pressed at the same time. Something like key pad 6 arrow key right and page up then nothing will happen as I understand it it's a windows thing. I actually thought one of my keyboards was broken when this happened. The solution was to use the hatswitch instead of keypad 6 and then adjust the view with page up/down and arrow key.

Now I'm not saying that is this issue but as I said I'm perplexed by this problem and have never seen or heard of it other than the multiple key presses.
