Still have HOPE, but I understand! This'un is gonna hurt! Last 6 years or so-8:30 pm ish...."Mistah Pa! How are ya sir?" Me,"Doing as well as I can, cant complain, sir!" "Heh, Heh, that a boy! Greater is he, that is in you, than He that is in the World!" His response since 7,7,2016 and Laura's death, my niece. Just about EVERY EVENING! "That a boy! Good to see ya,Par!"
Praying, to keep him with us, feels like a travesty of justice. Then again, it isnt up to me? I know where to find him, in due time!?
The illness or lose of any member of this group of "friends" hurts but this one is too close and is just tearing me up. I always got the same greeting "Mr. Ken, how are you today?". Ohhh how I long to hear those words again. But alas the Master is calling him home it appears. It would seem his task on this decadent world has been completed, and the Master is calling him home to his reward. I am reminded of the Southern Gospel song, If We Never Meet Again This Side Of Heaven.
If We Never Meet Again This Side Of Heaven
Soon we’ll come to the end of life’s journey
And perhaps we’ll never meet anymore
‘Til we gather in heaven’s bright city
Far away on that beautiful shore
If we never meet again this side of heaven
As we struggle through this world and its strife
There’s another meeting place somewhere in heaven
By the river of life
Where the charming roses bloom forever
And where separation come no more
If we never meet again this side of heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
Oh so often we are parted with sorrow
And action often quietens our pain
But we never shall sorrow in heaven
God be with you till we meet again
