accurate terrains w/ terrain editor
limited Icons(or none

)
fleshed out planeset
missions designed w/ the mission editor
the Navy and the army

fiery cataclysms and explosions
stratus clouds to hide in
regularly schedules scenario's (SLite's?)

things are looking up

could even borrow some SL's for use here or use their ideas as inspiration.
