...is alive and well if somewhat relocated to a less populated Melee Arena.

This morning TheStig, Shane, and a few others were having splendid, good natured inconsequential low-level fights in which you could experiment with technique, different aircraft etc. Was all very friendlly and good natured. Some discussion of bad backs and intermittent fasting on chanel 200. Inevitably at a given moment the normal base-taking machinery engaged gears and got underway, which is fine, everybody was happy.

So if you're interested in ACM and dogfighting try to get in early for half an hour and like-minded people will automatically flock together (you can always have a nap later in the day). I think I only fired a dozen rounds at Stig after I told him my right hat switch wasn't working and he deliberately started flying to that side

Are we talking about an East Coast breakfast, West Coast breakfast, or somewhere in between?

Why not. I'm not in charge of anything it's more a birds-of-a-feather thing. The potential is there. Just try to form a new tradition. Seems a bit weird when you think about it to have to remind some people this is only a game and its focus could be on fun

These types of things are a lot of fun. Hopefully it builds a rhythm of more players participating. This type of fighting is some of the most enjoyable parts of AH. I recon that it's pretty late at night for Est zone players given Shida is euro time.

It's not formal nor should it be. Stig's in Norway and I'm in Holland. Can often fly our mornings which indeed might start as a late night for some of you but might extend to an early start on some of your Timezones. Stig and I are on CET so 09.00 for us is 02.00 Texas time. 14:00hrs is 07:00hrs Texas. Sometimes can get on after that but the base-taking effort will be well underway around that point. In the DA a similar end point was evident when the first Tempests and 190s showed up. Those fellas were serious, they wanted kills and there was no fun allowed. 

Anyway, right now I am thoroughly dismantling my ACM back to third principals so I'm an easy kill. I frequently do not fire on civilised folk. Prefer to hunt the free-range rude. They taste better.
