so true just want to stick around to see my boys get married and meet my 2 youngest granddaughters. we talk on the phone but they live in Arkansas. maybe next Monday at my oldest son's wedding, they will be there.  didn't ask because I want to be surprised.

You get a generation or 2 that grew up in squalor, THEN the inevitable generation or 2 that had it easy. The second group rarely understands the first group

not my kids, while they didn't starve like I did.  everything they have is due to them, they worked hard, but if they hadn't well there's always a cup of noodles. while I did help them here and there, they always knew they better work.
