It’s getting pretty nasty now. The center looks to be 60 miles or so south south west of the house

Thank you, i have a 2 story concrete block house, I don’t think I have much to worry about. My biggest concern is being without electricity which is inevitable I think.

The current extent of damage

We'll likely be in the eye after midnight.  I doubt I get that lucky.  :pray

UPS on cable modem and tv setup are life savers

With all the power blinks about every 15 to 20 min now everything would be in constant reboot status without them

Gusts over 50mph now and its still hours south

CNN reporters aren't that bright. They had a reporter, think it was Berman, who was complaining about the water in his rubber boots. Idiot had the rain suit pants tucked into the boots instead of over the boots. :x

The flip side to this storm is that it feels like a late November this morning..fantastic!

Sanibel Island is now stranded as the toll causeway washed away...it is the wife and I best get away out of all Florida beaches..

Ft Myers is toast

It took about the same path as Charlie but was much more powerful and massive

Praying it's the only one we get this season

We finally got power back last night around 9pm, some houses in the neighborhood lost but we were lucky no damage.
