A plane going 400mph into a zoom cliimb or even a relatively shallow climb climbs a ton faster than one climbing at 180 knots.   Had you watched your film, this would be a non-issue.

Was curious and did a little test. Doing max speed at 20k, engaging WEP and just using autoclimb (lazy me), my Spitfire XIV reached 30k in 2 minutes and 44 seconds and was at 35k after 5 minutes and 43 seconds. From the bomber's guy perspective, that may appear to be insanely fast.

Yup, thats the problem. Many dont know the numbers any more. They see something they think is odd and automatically start yelling "hack!"

There are a few gv guys I have to basically auto-squelch when I log in because all you can hear on range is them complaining about how every plane in the sky (that they've never even attempted to fly in the last 15 years) is a cheater.

In my RL experience the guys who are most worried about getting cheated will be the first ones to do it to you so I just assume anyone screaming about cheating all the time is desperately trying to find their own way to cheat.
