Looks cool! I'd fly it! Especially if we get an Edwards AFB out in the desert!! Actually yeah I want that more than anything else.

Here is a scaled version of the USA map. To small IMO for a good  balanced map.
Chris79 has a good working layout, while it's not perfectly symmetrical it does have enough land mass for a good number of bases on each side.

The other option is to do North America and just remove Central America from the map.

Years ago, Like 20ish.

I thought it would be cool to have a 1:1 scale 512x512 of the Eastern US with the focal point being Washington DC, it would have lots of GV bases.

I thought it would be a cool map to host special events on... Dux, the TT lead at the time, didn't agree.

Add some of canada, and a bit of mexico with the islands.... cuba, puerto rico, and such should give you the land mass. Evening the side might be an issue.

I was bored today, so I fooled around with it for several hours. I was thinking about doing “middle earth” but lost interest in that idea. The best west to do a production of the US would be to to a state. Wyoming for instance would fit the 256x256 At roughly a 2:3 scale. But I would not be able to use any task groups or the like. I could also do a Black Sea map at roughly 1:2.
