Cheap stick

Howdy gentleman,

I am looking to get my 14 year old brother into AH. He flew a few times in AH under my account and had a blast. I was 14 myself when I fell in love with AH and it seems only right this is the moment to introduce him to the game for real.

So what I need is a cheap twisty stick with a head switch for him. I will get him the fancy stuff when he actually sticks around.

It had everything I needed. A wep button, a headswitch, a throttle, a button to look up and 2 buttons for channel and range and it was a twisty stick. Although it was hard to aim with, it was not very precise.

Do you guys have any experience with cheap sticks and is there something similar on the market?

[The Fugitive]

The Thrusmaster is a great stick, I know a lot of players that use it as their main stick and are very happy with it. Best bang for the buck these days.

Well Dutch, I can't say anything on sticks considering I'm still keyboard and mouse-bound myself (sans VR or TrackIR as well), but I will say this:

I'd love to fly alongside another guy my age! Let him know that Tig wants to wing up with him as much as I can.

I will absolutely tell him Tig! There was a guy i knew from a long  time ago, he only flew with a mouse and keyboard and he was literally unbeatable. We fought many times and he showed that you can be a great stick even without a stick. We are on the EU time zone however. Great you found AH, i myself hope to run into you soon. Ah EU might be a problem, but I'm sure we'll figure something out. I've seen your handle in game alongside me from time to time, and when I resubbed I started on Bishops and shot you down once or twice. 
Not sure if I flew with your brother or you, but regardless I'm sure we'll have a blast!
