A lot of those stripes look worn or painted over.   This one almost looks like hash marks.

Essentially the final version, unless I spot something I can't live with.  Will be travelling again at end of the month so I need to get it finished up and submitted.   I tried to be as faithful as I could to the weathering evident in the photos.   She was another bomber who made it through the War and survived more than 100 missions over the Reich, only to be sold for scrap.   Scares me to think hard about what her crew put up with on those missions.  Multiple times she returned with significant battle damage from flak.   I really think I can see a real resemblance to Rita Hayworth in the nose art figure.  Special thanks to Lyric, Vraciu and Fencer for the additional reference materials.
