The "All" channel is no longer used. To talk to the other countries tune a channel to 200.

If you're talking about bright white text, I *think* that indicates a private transmission.   For example, to send me a message on a private channel, you'd type ".p oboe " followed by your message, e.g. ".p oboe Hi oboe, nice to see you in game"

This message would show up to me in all white text.  Channel 200 is more of a grey or dull white text.

And to respond to a private chat message someone else initiated, you type ".r " followed by the your message (leave a space between ".r" and your message)

And if I recall correctly, you can no longer tune to another player on another country and have a private chat.  Only those on your country.  HiTech might have changed that back, I’m not sure.

You are correct.

Hitech changed the channels. The purpose was to avoid bullying across country. All theose"You suck" type of comments in both private channels and cross country channels. The "All" channel was shut down and 200 opened up. This way only those who "chose" to tune 200 or the "cross country channel" as it were where knowingly in for what was coming. Removing the "all" channel and the private message channels killed the bullying.

You can talk cross country if you both tune the Vox to the same 200 channel, ie. both tune Vox to 278 then  you talk to each other.
