What wifi system/model/brand are you using?
I use a TP-Link Deco setup at my house.
My house and my mother-in-laws house are side by side, 4 feet apart. She uses my network wifi. For years its been spotty when using my LinkSys setup. Everytime I went to adjust something I found my neighbors wifi as the strongest available, and his plac is 100-150 feet up the street! SO I asked him what he had and looked into it.
They come in these pod unit, kinda look like a fat Amazon Alexa. You can add as many as you like to expand your coverage. I have one in my basement connected to my router that all my wired stuff connects to. A second one in my bed room up one flight, 2 rooms over, and a third at my mother-in-laws next door. I now have zero issues with connection at either house. Streaming next door is perfect, phones connect without issue and it was easy to setup. Best wifi investment I ever made.
