No luck.

Does it help to reinstall AH3?

Okay so I went through both windows and AH3 and set everything to STEREO SPEAKERS / HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE.   Now it is working but that may change...

If speakers disappear again, just change Stereo Speakers to Dolby Surround and next time just back. I normally shuttle between them when bug hits.

With me this happens only in AH, not in any other sim/game I have in my mill.

That's similar to what I have to do when I want to plug speakers to my front jack - I usually use just phones but sometimes I'd like to get a backing track audible through my guitar amp.
Quote from: BaldEagl, applies to myself, too
I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

I get this too with Win 10.

Thanks for the thread, I’ll have to try these suggestions.

So far only thing that works is closing AH after seeing this error snd re-trying shortcut launch. 3-4 attempts and it goes away.
They're casting their bait over there, see?

This is exactly what is happening to me now.  Over two years with this rig and it never occurred before last week.  What an absolute PITA.

I hope Hitech has some solution in the works.  There are a few of us with this issue now.

If your computer is plugged into the internet it is ALWAYS being changed. Sometimes those changes dont work well with other programs.

I have USB headset, same issue. Can change setting in game and get sound for that session only.

Ok folks this is a thing now. Played all night and then went away for maybe an hour. Tried logging back in and the game hung up it crashed and then my next try I got the error.

Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

Well not sure why but a simple restart and reseating my usb headset fixed it. I use the Jabre 75

Try it a few sessions and see if the error comes back.

I've been kicked out from game few times lately. Comes a box telling connection to host has been lost. Internet connection has been working normally in other sims and apps.

What comes to sounds, almost every time have to fiddle with loudspeaker settings and relog to get sound.

Yep mine are still screwed.  Funny thing is they work perfectly in OFFLINE mode every time.

But online no.

Mine work often in other online arenas with first attempt but in MA not. Seems to be specific for it.
