Read-Me file posted

In hopes of releasing The Ultimate Sound Pack today I posted the readme file on my site. Both files are currently sitting on a friend's server, which means no downloads as of yet. I don't want to foot a big hosting bill.

There's a list of what each file contains, along with the usual author info and such. Download links will be at the bottom of the page once I get the URLs from Ronni.

Right now the only thing stopping me from releasing this beast is lack of storage space. I'm sorting out a minor goof with the Merlin-engined aircraft, which should take all of an hour if that. But it's hard to find hosts that will let you post 25 meg downloads. I've got a few leads, so it shouldn't take too long to track a host down. Plus I've got to update that readme file, which I'm doing now.

Provided I get lucky I'll release it sometime  next week. Wobble I know they give you 30 megs, but I'm not dumb enough to use Geosh^**ies. Thanks but no thanks.

Well, it seems I caught a lucky break. Provided the number of downloads doesn't go through the roof a friend will let me borrow some space. As a safety measure I stuck a hit counter on the readme file to tell me the approx number of downloads. Right now there's nothing available since I pulled both files to fix errors. I'm still trying to figure out a Merlin-engine goof, which could take a bit. I'll post in General when it's done and ready for downloading. I expect a download spike, as usual, for the first few days. If the number of downloads doesn't drop after a week I'll pull the files off the server. It may seem like a horrid way of doing things but I've got no choice.

Borrowing space on HTC's server would be like another release day. 25 megs is a lot to download, especially since the game server is on the same backbone. I figure it'll be done and ready this week, possibly Wednesday. If there's any delays I'll post here.
