It's an admirable thing to try to save the game, however I'm not sure that there's much a single person can do alone.

I remember AW shutting doing.
My feelings were: "They did it to themselves."

I remember when Commodore (of which I've owned an Amiga 500 and Amiga 3000) when out of business.
My feelings were: "They did it to themselves."

I remembered when warbirds went down to less than 5 players online.
My feelings were: "They did it to themselves."

I remember when WW2 online got "taken over by the community."
My feelings were: "They did it to themselves."

I hear the vaunted "lead producer" (snowflake in my book) has left IL2 and is now making his own game.
My feelings are: What happens with IL2 will depend on the people making the decisions, not their customers.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that the people making the command decisions on all the above examples were the ones who were the catalyst that caused the end result. It wasn't their customers. I don't think that banning a discussion of Warbirds on WW2 online or vice vesa would have saved either of them. I think that the people making the decisions had done something different that it may have affected the outcome.

I think the best you can do if you love the game so much is to enjoy it while it's still here. I hate to see you put your energy into something that you have very little control over in my opinion.

Just my 2 cents

You’re right, depending on how much ones squints. Its allowed by mostly firmer players who don’t pay nor play. Its allowed, its death from within by self inflicted wounds of bad decisions.

I’m seeing a pattern if some want it dead.

One con accidentally drop the ball only so many times before the word “accidental” becomes the word “intensional”. Everyone has s few hours to do something. I’m not going to row upstream and expect the current to change.

A lot of people will call me wring. Until it becomes true. Hind sight will just be wishful thinking.

What killed AW, EA refusing to do anything they promised. I’m seeing a repeat.

The worst thing I say to people is “I told you so, I warned you”.

This scenario can be a weather prediction.

Call me stupit, I won’t be the last one here its said to. :)

Some ppl like to hear themself speak, but don’t like to feel their brain think.

I hope I do my dishes today, I’m just not going to

Not sure if you saw the bigweek post but some of us that are active in IL2 are actively promoting AH3 in those forums...

Ya I bet dcs players don’t like me and prefer I shut up. Its not to their benefit of getting more skilled players in a boring and costly sim.

This brand new page I created for those who prefer not to be inundated with spam of other sim/game content.
Not sure if it is needed, but it's available.

Still under construction.

Compared to DCS yes Aces High's damage model is leaps and bounds ahead of DCS in regards to WW2 propeller planes.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

Why to be nice and polite, if it can be avoided?

There’s a good wolf and mean wolf in everyone. Its which will one choose to feed?

So far, in my worst moments here, this place has gotten the soft side of me.
In all things “ya get what ya pay for…”. I don’t mind being either wolf. But what ever it is I do, I go full throttle.

One should pick their poison wisely.

PC warriors have huge mouths. But mind their manners in a bar.
Dental cost are high these days.
