s.Pz.AJg.Abt. 654 Wirbelwind
« on: January 03, 2024, 02:01:55 AM »
Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This Wirbelwind with a turret number of 031 was part of the AA company of the Jagdpanther-equipped s.Pz.Jg.Abt. 654 (654th Heavy Tank Destroyer Battalion). On the 6th February 1945 it was one of a pair found abandoned by advancing American troops in the town of Hettenschlag on the Western bank of the Rhine. It had been given a winter camouflage coat of whitewash which by this time the spring rains had begun to badly erode.

The realism is astounding.  Looking at these screenshots, I can almost smell the metal, grease, exhaust.
