That's almost impossible to tell. You would need to look up the detailed plane stats for every tour of every individual pilot, because kills in attack and bomber modes on the scoresheet can be both air to air and air to ground. There is only one single player in AH on which i have such data.

Truly I’d put money on Midway having the record in a tour, by just how much that guy played.

Midway was too busy dying against my 51 to be #1 in kills.   He also got destroyed  by me in typing speed.

My money is on Skyyr.  He was knocking on the door of 3000 kills last tour.

Heh. He possibly led both kills and deaths categories.   I did a random check from when I recalled him in 2011...  check his lw tour 132 stats - it seems to be one with a higher number of kills/deaths in planes where later he branched out to gv's.

But, yeah, he was quantity over quality and loved his HO even tho' it got him killed usually.

I wish AH would have done more on the stats side. That could also have helped a little bit for player retention, if you could look up your own stats in more detail, like "How often was I killed by La-7's in my career?" (412) "How many deaths do I have in total?" (14,769) "How many Spit 16+ did I kill in the Hurri I?" (30)

I always dreamt about an AH 'personal page', showing your last kills and giving you the opportunity to look up stats like above and maybe even have some room for personalization. But they did the opposite and even removed a lot of stats.

The highest number of kills in Attack/Fighter combined I personally know of would be Midway in tour 132: 1911. By looking at his killstats, almost all of them are A2A.
Total time in sortie: 289 hours. That's almost 10 hours in sortie every day each.
