This skin is an adoption of Fencer's original skin on our 109G-14.
Bf 109G-6/AS of 2./JG 3 in May 1944. It was flown by both Horst Petzschler and Otto Büssow, the later was shot down and killed in this plane on either May 28 or May 30 near Belzig, Germany. Sources vary on the date.
Like other first batch G-6/AS's, "Black 14" was painted in overall RLM 76 light blue. The insignia are black-filled crosses in all positions, a detail missed in most depictions of these planes. The JG 3 crest is painted on both sides of the cowling.
