I switched the Track IR, so that’s what I’ve been working on. Before that, I started working on flying smarter, controlling me E, and not just hitting the deck and dumping flaps every fight.
Really been playing other games with IRL friends more than anything, though.
Flying smarter rhymes with with patience. For example, rolling when a few of your teammates roll, rather than rolling when they they are all RTB. Knowing what plane to grab for the situation helps a lot, and knowing when to break off a plane you are engaging vs when to be aggressive due to SA allowing it are the key concepts there.
I've been playing some HellDivers 2 with RL friends. Pretty fun game to relieve some stress.
They have a program for that called " Neck Safer "
Interesting, I'll have to check that out.
For TrackIR, use the "curves" to set a little Deadspace such that you get no movement at all when you're looking straight ahead (ie: at your gunsight). And, I have always kept "roll" off, as I find it entirely unnecessary. For the curves, just play with them till you get it where you like. IMHO there's it's very easy to overthink those curves.
For me the hard part is keeping my eyes on them the entire time. It's not so bad in AH, but DCS they can be right infront of me and i still lose them to the terrain lol but I don't particularly like having to turn my head left and then right to see both behind positions when they come from 8 to 4 o'clock positions but it will take some time. I like VR too, but same issues and the aimer is kinda strange in AH since it's 3D so that will def take some time there. I can't wait until these VR headsets come a lil smaller but have good FOV and nicer optics.
