Fewer than 1 in 3 students read at grade level in Chicago. On which planet is that acceptable? What about families who can't afford private schools dooming their children to a subpar education. Here in The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia they can council your child on becoming transgender without telling parents. Parents then saddled with lifetime medical bills for their child. I do believe we need to revise the current system so that children can learn math, reading skills that were taught in the 60's.

I chuckle when the uneducated acuse everyone else of being uneducated.

More so when they actually went to college and find they can't get a job because the jobs are filled with folks who were working all along and honing their craft.

All funding should be put under the microscope with cuts to the point of being painful if $36 trillion in debt is ever going to be brought under control ... psst we can't afford the interest payment on that debt now let alone actually hitting the principal...

My niece's husband has an MBA and did well in Corporate America. Hé sent his 3 daughters to private schools here in Kalifornia resulting in
Oldest daughter CPA.CFO millionaire before 28
Middle Daughter clothing design doing well
Youngest daughter Registered Nurse
I don't think they are a smarter than the kids in Chicago they received a better education than the Chicago students are getting and prospered.

Hard to understand what all the anger is about... We all thought you folks installed the Saviour and his South African archangel.

Not fixed yet huh?
