I have spent allot of time in 2 on line affinity communities. WW2 flight sim games and Motorcycles.

Given the shared interest/passion I feel it is true if any of us met in real life we would get on famously  :aok

I like to remember that.

Allot more in common than to differ about.

Animl likes to speak as if he is the official AH representative and speaks for everyone here. Pay him no mind.

You are a 70 yr old “man” who hangs on every chance to sabbatige a game population you have not played in many years. Who’s only purpose is to SKIM PLAYERS you are sickeningly obsessed. And you use others to do your dirty work. You are a very disturbed person. Mental mush. Living with you must be a living hell.

Evidently you have successfully avoided maturity at all cost.
NO ONE IS AS DISRESPECTFUL AS YOU. Your well known actions insult and disrespect this entire community. You are ignored by many for that very reason.

Why don’t you do your iwn dirty work, coward. Oh thats right, you don’t want to get banned so you can continue your mental disturbance.

You're trying to make Yarbles take your heat and we are all aware of that. Yarbles is better than that and you

Its you setting Yarbles up. You obviously do not respect him. I do.

At 50 mins into the video they show some truly awful landings but what looked most odd was what looked like a 12,000' X 500' runway with white lines painted on it.

Those landings truly were awful.  They look like some of mine.   :rofl

That is Manston field, Kent, England.

That concrete is still there today.

Yarbles, ignore animl.  He is convinced someone left him in charge.  :rofl

I do.

Thankyou  :aok

I will take all the respect I can get  :D

My only criticism of AH that matters is that I wish it was still under development.

The up side of that though is you do not have to spend a fortune on hardware to run it.

I realise every possible avenue to move forward has probably been explored. Perhaps we should form a Lottery cyndicate and if we win about $15 million dollars put it into the game and up date it. That would be the dream.

I think the whole community would second that sentiment.  :old:

Chaps, seriously:

Maybe I take too many happy pills but is this negativity really necessary.

I think we are all basically on the same page ?

Thanks for the Manston Pic BTW.

I think AH around 2010 will be the highlight of my gaming life. My unscratchable itch seems to be why is there nothing like that now  :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch:

If anyone knows how or where to find it again please do tell.

Most important ingrediant was 100's of players on one server with incredibly accurate models across land air and sea. Re Animal's comment below DCS has nothing like that.

Exactly. Animl has to stick his nose in everything and try to ruin any discussions he isn't a part of.

I also want to say despite all the long running who ha everyone wants to support ah and new players or old returnees.

I completely get why Animal does not want people advertising other sims on here. I am not trying to take people from ah but am interested what people say about them. My perspective is the experiences are very different.

Certainly the years up to the GFC were really something to have been a part of.

Ca. 1944:

I guess the idea was as the main fighter command base guarding the Eastern approach to London  they needed to be able to launch boat loads of spits fast to give them time to climb to alt to intercept bombers!
