You. Do. Not. Get. It.

Integrity matters... to me, anyway.  This has nothing to do with kills or scoring, it has to do with SNO doubling down on his false claim.

Don't put others' decisions on me; someone not participating is all on them. I could have left after the way you messed up settings or continue to allow HOs by your buddies - that would have been on you, driving a player away, right? And look at all these personal attacks I've been getting, lofl. Check yourselves, maybe?

If someone cannot handle being laughed at, rub some dirt on those egos and man up.  And maybe stop doing laughable things.

Or continue to circle your wagons because big bad Shane makes you uncomfortable in your feels.

Or maybe just follow the rules YOU set. I don't start things, I react to what I receive.

The person who has no integrity talking about integrity  :x. You asked for film, I post the film of you ho’ing and ramming and you try and lie your way out of it. Integrity you have no clue the meaning

Late to the show... guess you're feeling all swoll behind your homies, lofl.  You have a bad habit of coming in for collisions going back several years.

There's a whole thread of me showing what is and is not a ho... from july 2023...

I give what I get.  I stopped moving aside for your jousting (lag favors lagbois in this), and I've been starting to protect that space with guns.

Get better - running and dragging is pure MA weebsauce.

Learn what is and what is not a HO. This is 100% MNM associated because I got fed up with your collective MNM "HOing" and excusing it as "oops"

July 2023: https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,407770.0.html

I just might get around to doing a supercut of all your jousting, running and front quartering. There's one clear one of you tearing in to joust in that MNM thread I just referenced, first post, 3rd film named "20 4x mnm_0421"

Give better and you'll get better.

(SNIP)

I only got half my guns on you, not all, so it's a reach to call it a HO.

So I guess a ho is a ho only when the absolute center of my prop perfectly aligns with the absolute center of the prop on the plane the guy I’m ho-ing’s prop?
And it follows they have to be on an exact opposite course, to minuscule fractions on an inch.

With that tight a definition it seems that to me a true ho is practically impossible.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Finally someone said it, offender has absolutely no clue what he’s talking about, and posts pictures of actual HO’s he has committed and defends them as a “front quarter” …. *smacks forehead*

Trying to get that point across though is like  :bhead :bhead :bhead

I don't play anymore but I can still have an opinion on the subject. If someone is heading towards you and not shooting it seems obvious they are trying to avoid a head on situation or collision. Sure, I'd still shoot at them but I'd pretend to feel bad about it.

That applies to the MA, not MNM where the rules specifically state no Head On passes, unfortunately we have a player who gets tired of getting shot down, who will then take increasingly more Head On shots until those on the receiving end of said HO’s get sick of it and shoot back, original offender then cries “HO” and blames everyone else instead of taking a look at the root of the problem… himself. He will then go on to accuse every one else of doing the exact things he himself is doing. Said player is the literal definition of a narcissist.

Rules or no, there has been complaining about HOing in the MA since time began.

Can the organizer of an event like this not disinvite someone after sufficient complaints?

That’s a conversation between the event CM and Dale…

But shouldn’t be necessary, 99% of us who participate in MNM have no problems following the rules of the event, being civil, and having a good time. Once the other 1% gets on board we won’t have any issues.  :aok

If the 1% continues to refuse to join the fold… then yah I would recommend not allowing that player to continue participating. And that goes for anyone and everyone, myself included.

2nd recommendation is to just bury this situation where it is right now. Clean slate, fresh start, calm feelings, and go back to having good clean fun. Rivalries and competitiveness encouraged… complete disregard to event rules, blatant antagonizing, name calling, flaming on boards, etc., not allowed.

I agree your 2nd recommendation is ideal. It could happen.  :D

I like this option ( not sure about the rules)... I also did a HO in the MNM with the inmediately apologized, and received( the expect and received) a mature answer: "don't worry...ocasionally happens to all" and move on.... No drama is game saver option.....

You are very correct.... so in receiving "front quarters" that I personally deem HO-ish in the 2-10range, call them out, continue getting them and start giving them back.  And egos have been making that 2-10 window much narrower.

Why should I continually eat collisions as butthurt players fly or turn directly into me?  Sure, I could move aside, but after so many, I simply no longer move - so I should eat a collision that favors players with higher latency? I was for a while, then got tired of it.

Ironically, or actually more on point, I have a film from Feb '23 where jaeger tells people 2-10 and puma44 straight up HOs me directly after.  He was one of the bigger offenders in this, and he hasn't been around for a while, altho' he's over here licking the window.

I give what I get.

I can do this a lot easier than any of you could. Mind your HOs and watch your rams, that simple.

Tag Puma you’re in .

Listen Shane… I know you feel like you get ganged up on a lot, whether it be in the game or on the boards or wherever..  but your “location”, Sig lines, and overall attitude towards everyone really doesn’t help your case, and I’m trying to say this in a nice way. Cause we all, you and me and SNO and Jaeger and Puma, and literally everyone else still here, are the last of a dying breed. We all share an interest in this type of sht that has basically fused with our souls… otherwise we wouldn’t still be here.

How about you, and me, and SNO, and the entire Aces High community for that matter, current players and former players, cause they’re still here too… how about we all just have a little more respect for each other. The real WW2 pilots, they did what we do… except for realsies, but they respected one another while they did it, They had honor still.. you know?

My point is… let’s just call it square, everyone.. on everything and let’s just enjoy the friendships and rivalries we have all created over so many years of flying and dying together.

Why don’t you join us for an FSO sometime, who knows.. maybe after fighting together instead of against each other for once, maybe we will understand one another a little more.
