The title of this thread suggested to me a new sim folks were playing like one of those virtual farming ones. Interesting maybe but boring.

Me, my mean green Ego machine and its partner the weed whacker meet up every Wednesday at 0900 for fun. I throw some Stones into ear buds and we get to mowing. It's good exercise for both the legs and the mind. Other than having the occasional banana slug sprayed onto my shoes, it's bliss.

I find it oddly satisfying watching youtube videos of various people clean up neglected yards for free. Like this one.

Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

It's less blissful here when it's 107f for months. Unfortunately my Bermuda loves it more the hotter it gets.

I still have plenty to do.  Trimming, edging, hedges, tree limbs, blower, etc.  It's a nice help mate.  I can do the perimeter stuff while he chomps the grass.  Gets me out of the heat quicker and "Gump" can finish off at his own sweet pace. ;)
Toxic, psychotic, self-aggrandizing drama queens simply aren't worth me spending my time on.

Yeah, I'd do the same in your scenario and others here with huge yards. I'm only talking about maybe 2500 sq ft and the fog usually hasn't cleared yet.

As long as I can play some "Exile on Main Street" in the buds, I'm good for any type of mow job.

Yeah, I have 7500.

Prolly wouldn't be worth it for under 4000 unless you had health issues.
