Damn. I've yet to try a GV or bomber after all these years. The excitement and enthusiasm generated here, Jaeger and Molsman, makes me want to give it a shot!
Is there a guide somewhere that shows ideal controls mapping?

I saw ya had a decent size crowd, for a Thursday.

and yet you still werent there?!! hehehe

these setups are truly the best in the game. the only bad thing is sometimes you see the same name killing you over and over.

Hats of to Shane for last night. <S>

The slaughter fest was unbelievable last Night. there was smoke and tank parts and craters EVERYWHERE!! since there are no enemy icons, its pretty easy to tell who the enemy is. it really is a Load of fun. the base was taken and retaken atleast 5 times last night, which is part of the thrill of the whole thing.

once the base is taken, now you can spawn out of the base itself and you have to defend it. this was my whole idea.

we had tiger1's in there vs firefly and T43/85. now some if you might think that is offset or unfair. let me tell you. it was very fair! i was killing tigers with a panther. sometimes it took more then one shot but it was fun none the less. the T34/85's and the fireflies had no issues killing them either.

smoke was deployed everywhere and it looked like a regular war zone. the sounds of cannon fire was incredible!!

until you experience it, i cant even come close to describing the whole set up. check it out next thursday. you wont be sorry!

For vehicles I still use the awsd controls to mover forward back or side for turning. I use my joystick to turn my turret and fire Z for Zoom 1.2,3 to choose what weapon and i forgot what i use to toggle for weapons . So have everything also programmed to my throttle but for me it is easier just to use the keyboard for tv fights

I'm with Xanax on this one.

Which is odd, I used to be a killer bomber at 30k, I could hit whatever I wanted,... fluent in every model AC, all subconsciously. O K in GVs.

Since my years off, I literally feel like I'm starting new with 25 yrs of experience wiped. Forgot how to do everything. My brain totally 86ed that memory data.

I need to config my stick for that stuff again.

Lately I spent more time building this next vid than playing....gang-bangs and all just send me to work on it, I won't bother with that tardness.

You're right, I need to get into other things like this.

I think you guys are kicking but on good ideas, perfect them in every detail and they are game sellers.

Aninmal look at my reply above,,,, i just use the universal keys on the keyboard to play gvs,,,, fighters and bombers i use my throttle and stick. just easy for me and The button to toggle weapons is Backspace and the brackets will help you range in but I also have that part set to my stick.

hope this helps guys

Not sure if you want it to be the same as your set up in a fighter but when you go to map controllers, you can select ground vehicles in the drop down menu and then hit copy mode 1 and it will assign all your buttons the same way they are in a fighter.  :aok

For GVs, if you have a spare 4-way hat, map forward <> reverse to maneuver quickly, view position 1 <> view position 2 allows your to jump between commander view and main gun.
A setting for auto select mode 1 for AC and 2 for GVs.
The rest is top-secret  :noid
Easy in-game again.
