Apart from other factors we have more people these days and so naturally more crazy people. Crazy people tend to get noticed. I did say apart from other factors.
I'd love to see a statistic showing felony crimes committed by transplants and illegals compared to multi generation Floridians. I'm sure Texas would, too. A lot of people move here to "start over", or rebuild their messed up lives, while also bringing their baggage with them. Luckily, we have law enforcement agencies willing to take them off the streets, one way or another.
