Is this the graphics cheaters im hearing about?
« on: June 25, 2025, 09:36:07 PM »
I was killed through trees by a tank on the previous sortie so I decided to film the next one.  This person spawns in and drives straight for my unknown location, the plane has just taken off so doesnt know where I am either.  He takes a long range shot that lands right in front of my tank, divided by many trees.  In the youtube film I show the shot that lands next to me, I go to his tank to show him taking that shot.  Then he continues on and stops short again behind a layer of trees, nailing my tank but not killing it.  I'm luckily able to see the corner of his track from the gun sight and am able to kill him after he bounces some more shots and I move out to get line of sight.  Attached the original film too if some of you are better at it and can show that he actually had a legitimate shot.  Unfortunately everyone one of my encounters with this player has been similar, tracking my location through dense forests.  I've been able to ambush him by using elevation changes though, guess they cant see through the ground.

That looks right. There are a couple other players on the Bish, and one Knight that utilize the same "toy".

Hitech was made aware of the issue a year ago or so. What I understand it is an outside program and not a hack of the game hence nothing can be done about it.

Be aware that they can see through some terrain. It doesn't matter what is between you and them - tree's, village, hills, low lying terrain etc.

Mothman and I had three or four Gvs trying to run us down and we took refuge behind a hill. As we moved back and forth to protect our flank - staying below the crest of the hill, anytime we stopped they would shoot and the shot would hit just above us.

When those guys are out in the open where their "toy" does not provide any advantage, there lack of ability and situational awareness gets them killed pretty fast.

The biggest baby which Ironically stars in your video is usually the loudest on 200 using expletives and calling you the cheat for shooting him. . . .lol

In the past, there were graphics driver issues on some player’s systems that caused certain objects to not display.

As I understand it, the program is a utility program that comes with EVGA video cards. However as of, iirc, 2023 EVGA is no longer making Video cards.

Same with bombing a GV.  There are three players that go right to a well hidden GV that no other plane can find.

If this is something that can be filmed and verified, those using it should be warned, and then suspended.

Just another cheesedog move like hiding in a building.. not quite surprised by this though.

My experience with that has been, as a gv'er my being "buried in trees" is not valid. 99.9% of the time you can be validly seen some way, you fire a shot, your tracks are exposed, you turned your turret as they flew over or your engines starts up all of sudden.

Two are with your country nearly 100% of the time.  You may not have experienced this.

I never was a big GVer but I remember watching film of a player who could consistently drive to where I was concealed behind trees or whatever and shoot me through vegetation with what appeared to be no line of sight to me. It was one of the reasons I stopped playing GVs for the most part. lolz

In my experience you are not a very good hider, and you hide too late.  I'll typically see you far away and keep watching you while I'm climbing.  The hard part is remembering the tree you stopped at, but I have a ton of experience so I don't typically lose who I was tracking.  Because I remember where people stopped, I can see how it may look like I go straight for them when i'm high enough for a good attack run.

I understand this for planes but how do tanks do this when they're coming in from more then 2k out and there's trees and terrain between them and you?
