Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

I once killed a 262 with a rocket from a 110. I doubt I could ever get that lucky again.

Only the Yak 3 can withstand a direct hit from an HVAR. 


I once killed a 262 with a rocket from a 110. I doubt I could ever get that lucky again.

That is pretty good.  The 110's gun package is so good, I don't remember taking the rockets more than once or twice.
That also gives me an idea for another post.

That sounds mostly frustrating, but occasionally damn funny.

My first ever air to air rocket kill was an entire set of Lancs - with a TBM.  Was hanging on the prop and fired blind to get enough lead.  Lucky as hell.  Meanwhile, I can't hit point blank targets with the P-39.  :furious
