I may give hanging a try. I recently went to several PT sessions for shoulder pain. It started a few years back when I tried lifting up our heavy garage door thinking it was unlatched. I gave it a hard pull with left arm thinking it would come up easily but it was was latched and the left shoulder didn't like that at all. My shoulders used to make noise from not having firm muscles to keep it all in place but the simple exercises they had me do tightened it up nicely.
Lets get on with the hanging!  Have to be careful when you say something like that nowadays.  :lol
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

For my chin-up bar (to hang from) I got one like this that hangs from my top molding, because my moldings are strong enough to hold it:

If you don't have moldings strong enough, you can something like this, but I would put the screws in and not just use pressure and friction to hold it in.  You don't want these things letting loose while you are hanging.
