It depends on how you define dogfighting. WW1 is dogfighting in the purest sense of the term, so I would argue that the introduction of air to air rockets ended pure dogfighting. Anything after that I'd call air to air combat.
But, if that's the case arming 2 AI drones with just guns and they jockey with one another for a gun solution is dogfighting...just without the humans onboard.
Dogfighting will never die but how we go about it has evolved over time.
