how does this song count as Country I hear it all the time on my 2 local country stations



Marketing + Publishers + Money = BS

Autotune & quantization disqualify this noise as music, let alone country.  And the layers just keep piling on from there.

This song is actually performed with a band. He played it live on SNL one time I saw. I dont know if id classify it as "country country" but its kinda like how rock is being classified as metal in some cases. Call me guilty for actually liking this song but not a fan of the music video  :rofl I think its more hip hop than country tho.

Its not a bad song, as far as modern pop country.
The mixing of personas dis work, for me. I refuse modern pop country, so it naturally won’t move me, personally.
