If you use the same landing speed with wheels down, does it still happen?

I've never experienced it with wheels down landing, ever.  Just when sliding in gear up.

Post a AHFV file.
You can edit the size in fb if you don’t want to post the whole file.

Drive a jeep down the runway in question and check if you notice “ground coming up” maybe covering the bottom half of the jeep.

Sometimes when the throttle is pulled all the way back it seems like the throttle is still open a bit.

I have a rocker button for blade pitch.  That seems to help.

Throttle location would make no difference since these happen in belly landings that destroy your prop.  The acceleration you get is faster than you would even on full throttle takeoff.  You can touch down at 100 and get catapulted to over 200 on level ground, which blows your plane up rather quickly.   I'm pretty sure I have damage in every situation since I normally touch down on wheels if not damaged.  Usually oil leak or radiator hit that has destroyed the engine.  I think one off the runway may have been just out of fuel though.
