It's already that way.

I was watching an interview and they were saying we understand conceptually how LLMs work.  But the Frontier models have gotten so large and so complex that no human can just look inside and understand what's going on.  It's a magic black box.  You just keep piling on power, compute and context and judge by the results the black box spits out.

For all we know it is opening an interdimensional  channel to a demon universe. ;)
