RE: Game crashing after logging into Online Server...

Had power outage and cant get back into online Melee arena. As soon as I get into the game and in the tower, the map/clipboard shows, and then all the field names disappear and game crashes to desktop. Per Dale, I renamed the old Aces High III folder and downloaded and installed a new one, and same thing happening, offline practice and offline missions working fine on new install. Kenai77 helped me a bit and Dale is out for the day, hoping he can help me more. Anyone else have this happen?

What kind of outage was it?
Was the PC on during the outage?
Do you know if you took an AC spike?
Have you tried any other game or anything else 3D?

Try rebooting your modem, and router. Also check to see if for some reason your firewall/anti-virus didn't reset the allowed sites.

You restart (not shutdown) since the outage? It can make a difference.

Ya I forgot the other things worked. I would go this route to start.
What set my hook is he made it in, but crashed when loading objects.
