I just read that I should be able to get 4 warbirds for $39 and FC4 for $29 during the upcoming Christmas sale?!

If that's true I might pick up both. That would be $5.66 a month for a year for all those planes.

My rigs with quest 2 are:
12700 with 64gb and a 4070 super
12100 with 32gb and a 2080ti

How would these work for DCS flying online?

Both should be fine at decent visual settings.

Be aware, if you get a warbird you pretty much also need to get Normandy 2.0 map (unless you wanted to wait for the PAC stuff) and the WWII Asset Pack.

There will always be less WWII servers than servers who allow FC4.  I can't say you wouldn't get more use out of FC4 if jets are your thang.

Maybe 2 warbirds, the map and asset pack and FC4? 

(if it were me personally, I'd get the spit and K4.)

There is something I should have shown in that video but it was really about just getting started in the plane, not the various nuances. What I should have shown was how and why to uncage a missile. With the Aim-9 caged it only "looks" straight ahead as oriented by the rack it is hanging from. By uncaging you let it track off boresight so you can pull your nose in front of the aircraft you are attacking and give the missile shot a bit of lead.
