You may deack alot, but you suck at it.  It's uncommon to take damage when deacking a town.  If I do the whole base I might expect to lose a control surface or oil.
Get gud.

Let me correct myself, you suck. You live in your own head. Its you who is new, you’re not over yourself yet. It’s very close to you may not have even been born yet. Baby seal.

You can go on ignore and squelch, you say nothing that interest me. Its just spent air.

I flew around a bit earlier and couldn't notice anything different with auto-ack

Yeah I personally cannot remember any time over the years where I consistently was severely damaged from town ack. It's 8? auto guns so should take about 3 passes in any 2x cannon bird and maybe 100 rounds of ammo or so.

What you’re flying makes a big difference.
Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

I am not sure what the difference in auto-ack but indeed on a couple of maps there is a difference.  I am not complaining since it is the same for all players.

Just to play devil’s advocate here…

Recently I have noticed an uptick in single ack pilot wound hits as I’m flying adjacent to a fieldwith only 1 maybe 2 guns firing at me at high speeds.

I’ll be cruising along thinking nothing of the ack and WHAM pilot wound…

Now, this could just be a coincidence and an unlucky roll of the algorithm dice a few times but it has happened more recently than I remember it happening before.

Not saying anything has or has not changed, just an observation.

Many players will confirm this but won’t speak up. Whatever the motive behind that to me is irrelevant.

I am a person who gets addicted to this game at times. I have only played 1 style of this game for the last 4 years. I have done thousands of sorties with the soul purpose of attacking bases for capture or attacking strats. When you do the same thing over and over again as many times as I have you notice changes when they happen. In this game, especially when it comes to bombing, you can learn and master techniques that when implemented will yeild the same results over and over again. When it stops yielding those results then something has changed.

Auto ack accuracy and lethality was buffed this year without announcing to the community. I don’t care why it went unannounced and I am not complaining. I absolutely love the fresh challenge this has brought to my gaming experience.

With that said I love this game too much to not keep announcing things like this when I notice it or when a player continues to disregard the rules established by HTC regarding multiple account usage. The funny thing is in a way it has been passively promoted to use multiple accounts to balance eny issues which in turn increases revenue. You can never stop a player from doing it. I just don’t have to sit there and remain quiet when someone doesn’t respect my time investment and decides to cheat to gain an advantage. They win in the moment but I always come back and achieve my objective later.

HTC has never made changes to the game without some form of announcement, usually in patch notes if it requires a new version. Otherwise, a post on the forum if it does not. There would be no reason to make discrete changes to the game without announcing it and providing justification.

I think the difference comes between auto and manned guns.
I didn’t look at settings until recently. They are listed and all at 1.000. I thought they were tweaked too. Not so.

Consider conspiracy artist.

On the flip side, saying one goes through 8-10 guns then 8 guns without a scratch is prolly not an honest broker either, who has their own patterns.
