Can you use this joystick without using the VKB config software?

Windows pops up a Defender alert when I try to run config software.

If windows can see the stick in the device manager then no you dont need the software for AH.

What are some good Rudder Pedals, with Hall Effect sensors, that are reasonably priced?

Thats a tough question. I havent found any that are cheap. $200 for the VKB ones. Im in the process of building my own but it is slow due to time issues. I keep looking tho   :D

Jimmy my last set of pedals is working less one toe brake.  VKB look good but no toe brakes but look like they are very strong.

They are bulletproof and no plastic crap. You can set an axis or button to implement brakes in AH via your stick. Better yet, you can implement software from VKB or others to have combined or individually manipulated toe brakes for AH. A matter of seconds and a few calories burned to set them up the way you want 'em.

I just bought another set after giving up on pedals and trying twist axis again.....what a mistake that was.

They sell them right out of a warehouse here in the states for cheap. No tariffs and crap to deal with. They showed in 3 business days. Do it. Buy once, cry once.
