do you take the picture while the film is running or do you take it while the film is paused?

HMMMMMmmm.. a lone P47?  Just wondering French, but what happened to you towards the end of Frame 1 with about 20 minutes to go?  I remember wasting one P47d11 along with ManeTMP and letting his bud run off because I had no cannon rnds left..  Could this have been you?  :D

Sorry but I fear I will have to disapoint you Octavious. Here is the ARR I sent to the squad, let me know if you could read all the way till the end  :D :

Mission 1:
Took lead of A Flight, Nomde as a wingman, Pollock and DaddyAce as second element. We flew 30K over Germany. We encountered 2 high 190s. After a short high altitude dogfight, a 190 came toward nomde and me and elected to follow Nomde.

Nomde started to jink in a dive, I asked him to drag toward me but he flew away from me. I dived to follow and help but Nomde went down in flames, as I pulled up from 10K 4 FWs were in my 6 ... don't ask me where they come from.
I pointed my nose toward the chanel, started some high G rolls while those FWs opened up on me from 400y up to 1.5K. While reaching the tree top and almost at the chanel they abandoned the chase. ...wohoo  :)

It gets better :

I grabed back to 13k and came back toward France. I lost track of whjat happened to the rest of my group. At A16 I spoted 6-7 aircrafts low over the field. Hehehehehe ... I guessed some LW where landing to refuel. As stupid as I am, it never crossed my mind that 1 Vs 7 I could get shot down. I came down at tree top screaming at 500MPHs, heading toward their field. I figured that coming at tree top, they would think I'm a german coming to land. When I reached the field, only 1 was on final I did a 90 deg deflection gun pass (so much for a setup) and missed him. I shot straight for the moon, doing about 330MPHs. The german FW did a hard turn left, I pulled some Gs and came back on him. The FW did a hard turn right and a rolling scizor, I had to pull some Gs to follow him. I obliged myself to run if I missed him, but I didn't ... he went down in flames.
Tracers were flying around as I realized that this last turn brought me facing their field. Instead of trying a 180 away from the field and loosing E I kept flying toward the field in a wide left turn.
I jinked a lot while praying to the Airman's god. I eard no impact from the ack, as soon as I cleared the field ack, my six was occupied with the whole LW. I had 6 FWs runing after me at 700y, I was slightly faster doing about 280. I could separate 1.4K from them till they started to gain on me again.
I thought I was toasted, but for whatever reason they abandoned the chase, maybe they needed gas hihihi. So as the lucky SOB as I am I headed back toward England on the deck. When I switched to AUX, with fright I realized that it was empty and that those 1/8 MAIN was all I had to land. Passing the coast my eng died. I glided till A3 or A4 (don't recall). I landed and rolled and stoped short of the runway. Damit, it will count as a ditch ... too bad you don't have the option of pushing your plane  :)
Ammo, you lost your bet, not a single bullet hole in my P47 this time  :))  >God knows that I tried< hehehe.

Mission 2.
After recruiting Nomde to push my P47 ready for Mission2, we took off same config. On the re-up we had conflicting orders and were asked to go CAP way up North as a decoy.... heuu.... ok. When we arrived there, Ammo advised we should be South, so we flew south  :)

N-NW of Stutgart we were engaged by 5 FWs, we were 8 P47s. After a 5 min dogfight I realised that Nomde and me only were engaging those 5 FWs, the rest was circling above. I yelled on the radio to the rest of the squad to get there but down there but I eard some "20K hard deck non-sense". Yeah yeah, I know it feels uncomfortable to be on the deck deep inside eni territory but heck IT FEELS GOOD! Without kidding, 5 of them, 8 of us. Let's chew them out and grab back when we are done festing.
I could place my P47 on the 6 of a FW-A5 and score hits on him. I saw his left wingtip fly away (yes we were close), and last time I saw him he was in a 90deg nose dive then he crashed.

Anyway, 1 down, 4 to go. For now Nomde is on the defensive with one and I'm on the defensive with 2 ... we are at 1,000ft. I recall converging with Nomde and from then it went in a big furball, planes were all over Nomde/me Vs 3 FWs. I still find a way to squeak on RW of our group cruising up there. Actually they were probably not even there anymore. It's with big relief that I saw Hodo diving in ... wohoo! A couple of wild manoeuvering I'm 700y in the 6 of a FW. He is "warprolling" the best he can. I scored pings on him and saw something fly away but gradually he outflew me ... 800y, 900y ... 1k 1.1k... I broke off, nomde was right there, Hodo too and the other FWs disapeared. Maybe they didn't liked the odds anymore.

We RTBed, refueled for a 3rd run, went back above France at A16, no LW planes there (probably scared the hell out of them last Mission hihihi). I joined 4 B17s and a P51B RTBing and landed safely in England.

2 FWs destroyed, 1 damaged

I was right behind you Frenchy when you were escorting that bomber.  Unfortunately, our escorts only showed themselves after we had returned to England!

It's before landing Eagle.

You read my AAR Fdiron? At least 5 FW who didn't shot at you   :)

It's pretty simple, if you can see me, then we will probably see the eni at the same time. I don't see by what miracle we can prevent them from flying thru us and ram ur teeth.
The goal of some of us was to find them before they find you and bring them low ... hum... but u were low too hehehe ... just teasing.
