Saw the pic and a chill ran up my spine. This has TOD written all over it. Someone suggested an HA for the, paper kite with an air rifel taped on, crowd. Please leave the choice of planes to the customer.

Hmmm. I wonder, since there is only ONE terrain right now, if is it possible for three bases near enough to each other but generally not part of the land grab that could be used to stage only the 109F, Spit Vb and ME-109F aircraft???  One type per base???
Disable all other aircraft but the one at those bases and then folks could choose a side (Rook, Knight, Bishop) to fly from - depending on thier aircraft preference.
Then folks could almost have a TOD/RPS ...
pending a real one.

AW had something similar to your suggestion called "fighter town".  Was basically 3 bases in the middle of the map, 1 from each country within a stones throw from each other that could not be damaged.  You could take up any plane you wanted, but as you may guess, it was mostly spits, 38's, and f6's.  The idea actually worked pretty good.

"ACA"   but with realism "on"

and <gack!> As Fishu noted   I'd meant to put the C.202 in there and not the 109 twice.

Hehe Westy!

Nice job on my hawg last night- I didn't have much chance, was trying to keep the scissors going until you passed in front of me. Stall did me first! (you would have gotten me anyway...  )

That was a nice dog fight. My night went down hill from there.
But at one point we almost faced each other during the scissors all I could imagine were your 4 20mm ripping me apart.
It must have been my view.
As it was my stall light was blaring away and I was seconds from pancaking myself.
Didn't last longer than about 3 seconds after you did as a fellow country men came down and finished me off
<S>  Hope to have more like we did last night. The dogfight I mean. The end result doesn't matter as much to me. I just want that oh sh&t feeling with that huge pucker factor tossed in!

Fishu:
109F is standard plane and model identifier. Me-109F designates planes made under the Messerschmitt plant(s?), and the Bf-109F designates planes made under the... I have no idea what the name of the factory is, but it stands for another factory that rolled out more 109s.

There was no Me109. Only the later planes by his group where called ME. All the earlier planes where Bfs Bavarian Funkworks or something.  Alllied pilots refered to it as the ME so it stuck. The FW series is the same. The designer Kurt Tank was recognized starting on his later planes like the TA 152 and TA 154.
