Does NETSTAT mean anything offline?
« on: January 29, 2002, 08:23:14 AM »
OK Probably a dumb question but recently I noticed if I pull up the netstat screen when flying offline the "Host Queue Time" box display is all over the place. Assuming the host is my own PC does this mean something other than AH is utilising my system resources (Everything except systray & explorer shut down before starting AH).

The reason I ask is recently I have noticed a framerate reduction and also longer program loading times - Not just AH (Scan Disk & Defrag once a week).

Thanks in advance

The host queue bar shows the 'stress level' of your (the host offline) computer, so if you see a huge spiking display there it means that your computer is having more than it can handle with aces high.

I think it shows that both off and online..

Hmmm,
Think I had better start having a look, My Specs are certainly upto the task. And my benchmark scores seem to reflect what others are getting as posted in the Hardware forum. Wonder if I've got a memory stick going down or something.  I think I'll try more/different memory while it's still cheap and see where I go from there. The system is pretty standard to the specs below (No tweaking etc) so I don't think I have screwed anything in that respect.
