I've just been over to the Dark Side board. And there I found a story concerning an
"investment opportunity"
. It begins with a story to whet everyone's appetite and make the fools believe that there really is such a thing as a free lunch, and then goes on to invite investments for a minimum of $25,000 per investor or investor group.
Suddenly, RL flying seems affordable again!

$25,000.00 equals 83 years of Warbirds@ $25/mo. I think I would take the 83 years over plopping down the cabbage:) Besides they would have to turn around the company within months or perhaps weeks for my money, heheee, considering my situation.

Many still don't trust Wild Bill to run the game and keep Warbirds as it is and not a dumbed down arcade shooter, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt despite his failings with Microprose and IMOL but I sure feel uneasy about plumping money down because I just can't help have the feeling he's encouraging this to boost share prices and then sell his off for a quick profit to fuel his private Warbirds for a few more years.
