Now wait a minute Ripsnort, I've never accused you of any kind of whinning about numbers. My post is about a problem with our MA, not a particular problem with Rookland. Now we are sistematically outnumbered (each other country overpassing us by 100% or more), but in the next months the outnumbered could be the bish or the knights and the problem will be the same.

3 countries is by far the best.   In WB it was a constant lopsided gangbang mess.

giving perks out is a bad idea.  Perks are a bad idea.

How bout not allowing fluffs to take off from countries with more than a 10% advantage.   It seems that the countries with the numbers advantage are the ones who can spare the suicide fluffs....  and do.  The outnumbered countries have their hands full defending against fighters.  It makes for some pretty easy fluff  milkruns.

Okay, it *was* a spanish guy, I get you guys all mixed up ;)

Anyway, Rooks had a reset on Friday night, numbers for knits were lower after 11pm.

I think it has to do with the time you log in and play.

I hear ya mandoble..

I rarely log on lately, the game with the constant gangbang became boring for me. Sure its more effort fighting 3:1 or 4:1 but in the long run it only becomes dull.

Seeing people rack up 10-20 kills vulching your newbie countrymen pisses you off, while you try to fight someone 1:1 or 2:1 only to be bounced by his third enemy, ending the fight with 1 spray.

Numerous times I've come to a 1:1 fight, managed to turn the tables after a long fight only to get jumped by his countryman who he probably called for his help. That's a lot easyer if you have 20-60 players more than the enemy, thus many people just wander around looking for an enemy to jump.

Frustration finally boils to the point where I start to furball suicide runs and in the end logoff disappointed.

The trouble is that I purchased 6 months in advance.. It's a big step to call for cancellation, but I might just do it.

Hmmmm...4 sides in AH.  Not a bad idea, but who wants to fly for the "Pawns" or the "Queens"? :)

"Not that there's anything wrong with it!"

Yup those are the numbers I usually see when I log on. Man, what you are not showing in your examples, is that the Bish usually hold the majority of the fields, even with the cockeye'd numbers.

At different times of the day, the numbers of the different countries go up and down.

It's OK Rip, your whine about the numbers WAS a whine.  Fortunately tho', once the whining caused The Damned to move over to Knits and y'all started getting lopsided the other way again, the whining finally stopped!  :)

Ummm, humorous but true reality check....when the Knits have the most numbers, we do the worst.   I think Rip can back me up on that sad fact  ;D

I agree with Hooligan, there were often big imbalances in Warbirds.

And a two sided war in AH would just have the same problem as now, but maybe worse.

I dont think there is any way HTC can institute any way to correct or prevent imbalances.  Certainly you cant prevent squadmates from flying together, so there cant be any way to force balance.  Award points based on numbers?  Might be some thing to it, right now we have a system that awards big points to a reset, and resets normally are won by big numbers on one side.  So, we right now award points to the big sides.

Maybe a mathmatically increased point award based on country numbers would work, points awarded would be increased by a slight modifier depending on reduced country numbers?

There should be some advantage to fighting as the underdog.
