What's your favorite jam
« on: February 02, 2001, 09:52:00 AM »
What was the jam (or tea) that the British pilots drank/eat before night fighting for better night vision? By the way they are now finding it is an excellent anti-oxidant and does help night and day vision. I drink the tea and eat the jam and I'm like an owl.   No really it is good and good for you.

Actually it was carrots.   Not jam.  Just carrots.

Camel,

No bootlegs here, unfortunately.  I had some a while back, but they seem to have migrated into someone else's collection...

Although, it wouldn't be a bad thing if the AH pilots from the land of Ohio had a get together

Swoop doesn't live here, he's a tax exile.

I'm sure it was carrots.

BTW, my favourite tune by The Jam is 'Going Underground'.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.
