If a pilot is missing from your squad, let me know who it is and which squad he flew with and I'll take care of it.

Was Nifty flying Axis or Allied?  He got credit for the B26 that I shot down (and who shot me down in the process).  Obviously, I hit the water first, but it is weird that it would give credit to a B26 for his death.... unless Blutik hit Nifty's B26 firing his guns as he went in, and killshootered himself?

I'm glad it was close!  Looks like both sides had some action:)

FDB's got 6.25 points.  I'm not sure but it may be an unofficial HIGH score for us in a TOD.

hmm...  I accidentally hit "N" on the runway thinking I had already hit / for the text buffer.  I guess that single .50 cal round went into blutik on the runway before we even left.  I never even got to jump into the tail turret.  I dropped my bombs, broke hard, leveled and hit the wrong turret key and got blown away while looking out the nose gun.

Actually, I can go check the logs and see when I damaged Blutik.  be back in a bit...

sure enough...

straight from the logs filtered for damage and kills...
Country 1
1-25-02 22:06:07,Nifty,Bad Guy Damage,Blutik,1

then later
1-25-02 22:37:40,Blutik,Kill Awarded,kratzer,Fw 190A-5
1-25-02 22:37:43,Nifty,Kill Awarded,Blutik,B-26B

so through a typing mistake I put one single 0.50 calibre round into Blutik's B-26.   31 minutes later in the frame, he dies 3 seconds after Kratzer, so I get credit for the kill and hefty negative points for our side.

I'm throwing the red flag in.  I want this reviewed by Ed Hockuley (sp?)  wait, he'll just say there isn't conclusive evidence to overturn the play (when in both cases it was obvious it was a catch!!!)

LOL Nifty!

I think we should leave the points as is  --  as a penalty for st00pidity.

Let that be a lesson to ya:)

Honestly, I can understand me not being awarded the points since I hit the water first, but I don't think points should be deducted from the Allies because of one ping.  I put a helluva lot more lead into Blutik than one .50 ping... his entire tail section came off, if I remember correctly. :)  I wanna win, but I wanna earn it.

Speaking of credits and scores...  Can someone check into this?

After I got shot down in my fighters, I decided to gun for DRILL.  While gunning, I shot down a Spitfire, but neither DRILL or I got points for that.  Is there a reason why?  Or was I mistaken to gun for someone after being shot down.

Exile,
Not that it matters, but this might help in matching your data with the event.

Sortie #1 ended with me being dumped by AH when the initial mission launched.

Sortie #2 is just as you posted.

Sortie #3 ended with me being disco-ed by my ISP.

I use "Mysteriously disappears" to represent discos.

I use "unknown" when there is no result logged for the end of a sortie.

Thanks Exile,  I got your message.  I should have checked and waited first than post it here after I sent you an email about it.  I am an Awatenbou (A Japanese term for a kid who is can't sit and wait, kinda restlessness).

I've been waiting for the tally for Friday.   I dove over to help a squaddie (shorty who was tangled up with about 4 or 5 109's. Snagged one 109 with a point blank shot (Dizy. sorry bud :) )  and then latched onto another who I took down by ripping his tail off. But one of his friends managed to avoid Shorty and newly arrived 10 bears just long enough to get one impression snap shot out on me as we began to scissor. The log does not show who it was but I shake my head when I watch the film and see it all over again. All I can think mutter is "damn. nice shot"  :)   to who ever that was.
