Adding Images to Signature

For some reason, I can't get an internet image added to my Signature?  As you will see below, it adds a link, but not the image.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this feature not working?

You can't post pictures in your signature, as HTML and [IMG] are both off - see text to left of signature box in your User CP:
 HTML code is OFF
vB Code is ON
[img] code is OFF
Smilies are ON
The way others do it is to have a blank signature and manually type your signature and insert image in each message.
