They consider two outcomes desirable:

1. All people suddenly drop dead and rot.

2. All people suddenly become infertile.

The second outcome is much preferable to them because that will allow humans to clean up the traces of their existance. Otehrwise the ecosystem will have to work on them for extra 15,000 years.

Of course their considerations are purely hypothetical since they only stand for voluntary extinction but if history is any indication, those guys have already split into two rival groups each working on a virus...

how about we just follow the next logical move for our species and some of us get the hell off this rock and spread our rotten seed throughout the universe?

Show me a single organism that is not actively or passively exploitive of its environment, otherwise they are leaving the job unfinished by leaving even the most basic single-cell organism alive. The moon should be the ideal they're reaching for.

I'm actually familiar with that site and the idea and I have to say that actually the idea is very nice. Too bad that I do not exactly agree with it. Getting rid of extra population for sure is a mighty fine idea but getting rid of us all doesn't look too good to me. Bonus points for a good, well argumented idea and some radical thinking though. Much better than the pseudo-religious fanatics Gunthr mentioned.

god i hate movements like these bunch of idiots....have a problem...solution is get rid of em all....simplistic minds will always amaze me...but they are completely right about the over-population and the fact that we DO have to manage our enviroment by stoppping this over-population(don't think american now your only 375 million, but look to the chinese or indians, now we talkin billions)....and to think we will colonize the moon or something is a pretty stupid idea too, until we revolutionize propulsion. It ain't as easy as you make it sound.

so the question is...what ya do to stop this.
