It seems that you were the 190 Makarov9 and I (flying typhoons) met above the english coast near P39 around 50 mins after the beginning of the frame.
My wingman and I spotted a 190 getting into the 6 oc position of an AK. I sent a check 6 to this guy, who swiftly broke down. The 190 split-S'ed to follow him, and we began to chase this bogey as well. The enemy pilot must have spotted us, because he let go his prey and began defensive maneuvers, diving to the deck. There, after a couple more jinks, he hit a hill cliff not too far from the shore and blew up. I don't remember having seen other friendlies following us, but I can't be positive (or negative) about this point.
This 190 got definitely shot down (maneuver kill). However, as we haven't fired a single shot, we don't receive the kill credit, which is normal. So the allied vs axis scores are unaffected.
If you were this 190, I think the 'Shot down' mention is appropriate. Besides, I'm also glad to have avenged the courageous squadmate you treacherously murdered
