My apologizes to the CT community.

I must apologize to the majority of the CT community, that you were forced to see the verbal confrontation i had with Shane.

I just lost the patience with this guy. The CT is such a gentle arena and never was it so much fun to fly and to die for me.

But to Shane i dont apologize, he is responsible for this evenings change in the CT's otherwise gentle&friendly conversion tone.

He came in and from that point on, he just talked crap. Insulting people after they kill him on the runway in a field capture situation. He might be thinking he is the one AH pilot who can only be beaten by numbers, but this is no reason to ruin other people's fun, once this shows to be just his thinking.

And after hearing that crap for about a hour, i lost my self-control when he was squeaking at me.

So especially to the allied players of the CT i apologize, what i threw at shane is far far away of what i think of all you friendly and well fighting opponents.

Hope to see you all there in better mood soon.

hey we all lose it with people.

Shane is a pretty verbal character but hes never said anything to offend or piss me off and i play in the CT and fight him quite a bit.
I tend to talk too much myself, and no doubt ive pissed a few people off in my time :) but like you say,the CT is a far more friendly atmosphere in terms of pilots saluting each other and discussing where things went right or wrong so an extra effort to be polite is good for the CT arena. It then becomes a much more relaxed experience, pretty much like in the old beta days. This is sure to attract more players.

maybe it was a bad night for shane and he was just pissed off?

I find it helps to get your meds balanced just right and you don't have to rely on self control so much.

Also check out your ying and yang balance.  Lets see... this is winter so you should be getting more yang... or is it the other way around?  Either way you should eat more red meat.

I fly the CT because of the seasoned community.  Hey Elite is good... isn't it?  Let the Main Arena take all the slackers and poor mouthed, bleeding gum, flatuent language-louts that don't have the skills to make it in quake.

Even the FDB's behave themselves in the CT and always say, "sorry" before they gun down your chute.  We can all take a lesson from the FTB's.

"Even the FDB's behave themselves in the CT and always say, "sorry" before they gun down your chute."

Speaking of which (topic hijack assist)  I was online Friday night before the TOD and I flew in the MA for a few minutes. Saying "HI" to squaddies et al and making fun of the Ol'TARDS from AW. Anyway, I was amazed that while I am admittedly rusty from a lack of online flying lately I was able to beat Fatty to a chute kill.

  What's with that?

So do I insinuate that they're "muh-touring" or are they just getting old and indifferent?  Say it aint so!

Shane ALWAYS has something to say, and its usually a whine, snide comment or excuse of some type. Pretty annoying on the whole, but not an unusual AH experience. Nothing to loose yer biscuits over. :p

1. The CT is gentle??? :)

2. Just squelch Shane.  He is the poster child for the permanent squelch list.

3. There's a CT forum for this stuff.

See you up.

I can assure you our squad takes this disturbing report of delinquency very seriously. If Fatty is found to have acted in willful neglect he will of course be humanely destroyed. On the other hand, if it appears his skills are simply deteriorating with age, he will probably be retired to stud.
