Has anyone got this editor problem

Had downloaded the latest patch for the editor.  

A new patch for the terrain editor has been released. You can find it on our download page. There is a 600KB patch available for those of you who already have version 2.08 of the terrain editor installed. The new patch adds more error checking.

Then they said there was a problem with the patch and said to download the full version.

We've had a problem with the patch that has forced us to remove it. In order to get the new version, you will have to get the full editor download. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Now I have 2 problems:

1) Animation doesn't work anymore.  Can't even select it.

2) Under the Object Report: Check Terrain.   It won't find non-flat terrain for object placements.

I just wanted to know if others have this same problem with the version 2081.  If not then I guess I'll download the version again.

Never thought to try that because I could see the box to put the check mark in it and I even could see the Time slider lever but couldn't get it to work.  

Man I didn't think I was in that res. before when I used it, but haven't tried using that function in a while.
