Strength through the lessons of history
« on: September 12, 2001, 05:52:00 AM »
We in this community know a little of WWII history, may we use our knowlege to bring us strength. Perhaps the sacrifice of the War generation can give us examples of how to cope with horror. My life has been happy and safe because of my parents generation's sacrifice,I hope it can be again. Let us be an example to the next generation, by coming together in unity and strength

That is right my friend.

I realise that the people in those days made an incredible effort and we must never forget.

As for this tragedy, i realy hope that the world leaders don't do anything foolish.
I am not at that level so i may sound i bit naieve.
i think they should be careful about what to do.
At this moment we still don't know who did it.
We all think it's Bin Laden, but it could also well be from within the U.S.
I mean for christ's sake, this is the year 2001 and we still have a lot of trouble in the world.
Why can't we just sit around a campfire and drink booze and smoke grass and just have a good time.
This is not the solution, but i'm simply saying that there must be a way to live safe and sound for us all.

But i do agree with most of the people, who want those responsible caught and brought to justice.

I truly feel sorry for what happened there. We cannot and don't want imagine what happened there.
 :(

Sincerely,

Stefan.
